To continue to support the community as we all rely heavily on our technology currently, we will continue to operate tech support and repairs from the store in Upper Beeding.
Customers wont be able to enter the store but we can continue to provide our services, in line with government advice, with a ‘click and collect’ style arrangement.
We wont be able to serve passing trade but if you can ring us on 01903 816 116, we can get you booked in on our system so that a swift and safe dropoff/ collection can be made to the store at an agreed time slot. Social distancing and disinfecting will be adhered to so as to continue as a Covid-safe operation.
For those who are self-isolating or sheltering, please get in touch and we can help with local collection.
We are working with a limited team and if it’s anything like the last lockdown, there will be pressure on supply chains and delivery services so please bear with us,
WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS!
A COST-EFFECTIVE SOLUTION
At One Stop Computer Store, we know there’s lots of value to be had from a properly refurbished computer.
With the increasing prices of technology, we like to offer a cost-effective solution for your computing needs.
All of our devices go through testing by our technicians to ensure that they run as they should, they receive a full health check, data wipe and any new parts where necessary.
All our refurbished devices sold at One Stop Computer Store come with a warranty, for your peace of mind
making it easy & fair
We want to make it as easy as possible to sell on your old PC or laptop. Typically for us to give the best possible price, we would need to keep the device for 24 hours and run some tests to check the functions of the device, really putting it through its paces.
This helps us to offer a price that’s fair to us and fair to the customer. You’re welcome to call or email us with a brief description of the device, we may be able to inform you that it’s not something we can sell or we may encourage you to drop it in to one of our stores.
will my data be safe?
We always handle data with the utmost protection and are GDPR compliant.
If we do buy your laptop or PC from you , then we always ensure all your data is wiped from your hard drive or SSD by using MOD standards to erase and re-write over your data.
If we replace the hard drive in the machine we destroy the platters in the old hard drive, rendering the data unreadable.
We do not share data with any third parties whatsoever. We know your information is private and it should stay that way.
Not all laptops or PCs are something we can easily sell in our shops, so please don’t be offended if we aren’t able to purchase your device. We will contact you to let you know your device needs collecting from our stores.
Please contact us to see if it’s something we may be interested in taking a look at. Alternatively you can drop it in to one of our stores. It could be a great way to grab yourself some cash towards a new laptop or maybe even put it towards a nice holiday?
Please note: If the device is not collected within 60 days from being informed, we will resell or recycle the device so as to reclaim back valuable space in our busy workshops.
